LAKEHOTEL – NAMHOIANA – QUANGNAM
Lakehotel Namhoiana is a premium hospitality project situated in the historic Quảng Nam province, where centuries of cultural heritage meet Vietnam’s stunning central coastline. Lotuz Studio designed this lakeside hotel as a retreat that draws deeply from the region’s identity — the ancient town of Hội An, the Thu Bồn river ecosystem, and the living traditions of Quảng Nam’s artisan communities.
The hotel architecture references traditional Quảng Nam building forms — timber post-and-beam structures, terracotta tile roofs, and courtyard garden layouts — reinterpreted with contemporary spatial planning and modern comfort systems. Guest rooms are arranged as individual pavilions around a central lake, each with a private garden, outdoor bathing area, and direct water access.
Public spaces celebrate Quảng Nam’s culinary and craft traditions: the restaurant serves regional cuisine from a open kitchen built around a traditional wood-fired stove, while a craft workshop offers guests hands-on experience with Hội An silk weaving, lantern making, and ceramic pottery. The spa draws on traditional Vietnamese healing practices using locally-grown herbs and essential oils.
The landscape design transforms the lakefront into a naturalistic wetland garden that supports biodiversity while creating beautiful contemplative spaces. The project demonstrates how hospitality architecture can serve as a vehicle for cultural preservation and celebration.
