Paris Landscape – France
Paris Landscape is an ambitious urban masterplan project in France that transforms an underutilized district into a vibrant, mixed-use neighborhood. Lotuz Studio’s vision integrates Parisian architectural heritage with forward-thinking sustainable urbanism, creating a development that respects the city’s rich history while anticipating its future needs.
The masterplan is organized around a central linear park — a green spine that connects residential quarters, commercial zones, and cultural facilities. Building typologies range from mid-rise courtyard apartments echoing Haussmann’s Paris to contemporary mixed-use blocks with active ground floors. Public spaces are designed as extensions of the surrounding streetscape, maintaining the walkable, human-scale character that defines the best Parisian neighborhoods.
Key design priorities include maximizing urban biodiversity through rooftop gardens and green corridors, implementing district-scale energy systems, and creating a pedestrian-first circulation network. The landscape architecture draws from the tradition of French formal gardens while incorporating naturalistic planting that supports local ecosystems.
The project demonstrates how thoughtful urban design can address contemporary challenges — housing density, climate adaptation, social connectivity — while creating places of genuine beauty and character that will serve the community for generations to come.
