URBAN BẢO NINH – QUẢNG BÌNH
Urban Bảo Ninh is a masterplan development in Quảng Bình province, Vietnam — a region of extraordinary natural beauty that includes the UNESCO World Heritage Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng caves, pristine beaches, and some of the last untouched forests in Southeast Asia. Lotuz Studio’s planning approach creates a new urban center that leverages Quảng Bình’s tourism potential while protecting its fragile natural assets.
The masterplan establishes a compact urban core with walkable mixed-use neighborhoods, surrounded by a generous greenbelt that preserves existing vegetation and waterways. The street network is designed for pedestrian comfort, with tree-lined boulevards, shaded arcades, and public squares that encourage outdoor social life in Quảng Bình’s warm tropical climate.
Residential zones offer a range of housing types from garden villas to mid-rise apartments, all designed with deep balconies, natural ventilation, and views to either oceanfront or the dramatic karst mountain landscape. A beachfront resort zone provides hotels, ecotourism lodges, and recreational facilities that serve both residents and visitors, creating economic vitality and year-round activity.
The project is designed with a strong sustainability framework: protected ecological corridors link the site to surrounding natural areas, all development is set back from the coastline to preserve beach ecosystems, and a decentralized water management system uses natural filtration through constructed wetlands. Urban Bảo Ninh represents responsible development in one of Vietnam’s most environmentally significant regions.
