Taiwan Coffee Shop is an intimate commercial interior project that transforms a compact urban space into a memorable café experience. Lotuz Studio’s design creates a distinctive atmosphere where the ritual of coffee is elevated through thoughtful spatial design, material selection, and lighting choreography.

The interior concept draws from the contrast between raw industrial elements and refined natural materials. Exposed concrete ceilings and blackened steel fixtures provide a bold structural framework, softened by warm walnut timber counters, handmade ceramic tiles, and living plant walls. The lighting design transitions from bright, energetic tones at the bar to warm, intimate pools at the seating areas, creating distinct zones within a small footprint.

Spatial planning maximizes every square meter — a custom-designed bar serves as the focal point and operational core, while built-in seating along the perimeter walls creates comfortable nooks without consuming floor space. A mezzanine level adds capacity while providing an elevated vantage point that enhances the sense of spatial complexity.

Every design detail serves the café’s brand identity, from the bespoke signage and menu boards to the custom-designed cups and serving trays. The result is a café that feels both designed and authentic — a space where the architecture and the coffee work together to create a complete sensory experience.
