ON-SITE SHOOTS

Photography and filming of completed buildings

Once a building is complete, imagery is no longer built from a 3D model — it has to be captured on site. Lotuz provides architectural photography, panoramas for 360 tours and building films for company profiles, project handover and marketing.

  • Panoramas shot to 360 tour standards
  • Drone aerial footage, carried out when permitted
  • Original unedited files included

What we capture

Exterior architectural photography

We capture the building at the best light of the day, usually early morning or late afternoon. The results serve company profiles, competition entries and marketing.

Interior photography

Interior photography

Interior spaces shot with supplementary lighting, balancing the exposure between the interior and the view outside the windows.

Panoramas for 360 tours

Shot to tour-building specifications: capture point layout, controlled camera height and seamless joins between adjacent scenes.

Aerial footage

The full view of the building and its relationship with the surrounding area. We only fly in permitted areas and after the permit process is complete.

Building showcase films

Filming and editing short films of completed buildings for inauguration ceremonies, company profiles or the developer's media channels.

Construction progress shoots

Periodic shoots at construction milestones, for progress reports to developers or time-lapse films of the build.

How a shoot works

1

Survey and shot list

We preview the building through photos or an on-site survey, determine the sun path and lock the list of angles to capture along with suitable time slots.

2

Site preparation

You arrange for the shooting areas to be cleaned up, switch on the lighting systems and ensure access to all areas to be captured.

3

Shooting

We work through the agreed list. For exterior shots, we follow the best light windows rather than shooting continuously all day.

4

Post-production and delivery

Exposure correction, color balancing, perspective correction and removal of distracting details. We deliver both the retouched version and the original files.

Site requirements and deliverables

What you prepare

  • Access to the building during the agreed time window
  • Shooting areas cleared, with all lighting systems fully working
  • A list of items and desired angles, with reference images if available
  • An on-site contact person during the shoot
  • Flight permit, if aerial footage is included

Lotuz delivers

  • Retouched full-resolution JPG images
  • Original unedited files, for you to archive and use later
  • Panoramas to tour-building specifications, if in scope
  • Edited films in the agreed aspect ratios

Capabilities and technology

Lotuz Studio does not rely only on off-the-shelf commercial software. We build our own in-house tools for our own workflow — the practical reason we can shorten timelines and keep pricing stable.

Lotuz.AI — our in-house AI toolkit for Photoshop

Controlled image generation, relighting and resolution upscaling, running directly inside Photoshop. It is a commercial product on public sale at lotuz.ai.

  • What you get: a much shorter post-production stage, so we can take on rush requests too

A sync bridge between SketchUp and 3ds Max

An in-house tool that pushes changes from a SketchUp model to a 3ds Max scene while keeping the materials and lighting setup already in place.

  • What you get: mid-project design changes do not force a scene rebuild from scratch, so the schedule does not slip

AI image processing that runs on our own workstations

Background removal, selection and edge refinement are processed locally in our office; files are never uploaded to third-party cloud services.

  • What you get: unreleased project files never leave our systems

Our own 360 tour management system

We build and manage tours ourselves on krpano, including multi-resolution image tiling so tours open fast even on weak connections.

  • What you get: tours you control yourself, with no dependence on a foreign platform subscription

A ten-person team doing the work directly

The person you talk to is the person who does the work. No call center, no coordination middlemen, no handoff to a third party.

  • What you get: focused technical feedback from the very first conversation

Multi-format input files

We accept models from SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max and Rhino, as well as CAD drawings. For projects without a model, 3D modeling is quoted as a separate item.

  • What you get: no file conversion needed before sending your documents

How pricing works

On-site shoots are priced per session, not per image, because most of the time is spent waiting for the right light and moving between positions.

Pricing: The billing unit is the shoot session. A standard session covers a location survey, the shoot and post-production for the agreed number of images.
  • Travel and accommodation costs for sites outside Da Nang are charged separately.
  • Aerial footage is only captured in areas where flying is permitted; the permit process requires the developer's cooperation.

FAQ

What happens if the weather is bad on the scheduled day?
The shoot is rescheduled to another day at no extra charge. Exterior architectural photography depends heavily on the weather, so we won't shoot just for the sake of it in poor conditions and deliver a substandard result.
Should we shoot if the landscaping isn't finished yet?
It's worth thinking over. We can fix some unfinished items in post-production, but only to a limited extent. If much of the landscaping is still missing, the better option is to wait for completion or combine photography with additional 3D work.
Does Lotuz shoot outside Da Nang?
Yes. Travel and accommodation costs are charged separately and agreed before signing. For distant sites, we usually combine several jobs into one trip to reduce your costs.
Can the photos be used to build a 360 tour as well?
Yes, if you mention this need from the start. Panoramas for tours have their own shooting specifications for camera positions and overlap between frames; regular photos cannot meet those requirements.
Who owns the copyright to the images?
Your rights to use the images for your activities are set out clearly in the contract. Lotuz only publishes them on its own showcase channels with your consent.
