Filming and editing for projects and buildings
From launch-event films to short social media clips, we handle on-site filming, editing and post-production end to end. For buildings not yet constructed, the visuals are built from the 3D model instead of filmed on location.
- Both location filming and scenes built from the 3D model
- Export in multiple aspect ratios for event screens and social media
- Sample films sent on request, matched to your project type
Commonly ordered film types
Each type has its own runtime, editing approach and cost — naming the right type shortens the back-and-forth.
Project promotional film
Usually one to three minutes long, shown at the launch event and placed on the project homepage. Combines location footage with scenes built from the 3D model when the building isn't finished.
Company profile film
Presents a design firm or developer through its completed projects, for tender submissions and partner presentations.
Short clips for social media
A set of 15- to 30-second clips cut from the same footage, exported in vertical format for short-form platforms.
Construction progress film
Filmed at regular milestones and cut into a time-lapse film, for reporting to the developer and for handover-phase marketing.
Film from the 3D model
All visuals built from the model, no finished building required. The only option when a project launches sales before construction starts.
Post-production on existing footage
You already have footage but it hasn't been edited, or you want it re-edited in a different direction. We take on editing and post-production on their own.
Production process
Exact milestones are set by runtime and scale at the time of quoting.
Agree on script and runtime
Together we lock the key message, the runtime, the elements that must appear and where the film will be shown. The result is a storyboard for your approval.
Approve the rough cut
A rough cut sequences the scenes with draft visuals so you can approve the flow before we work on the details — changes at this stage cost far less than after completion.
On-site filming or 3D scene building
Shot to the approved script. For outdoor scenes, the schedule follows light and weather conditions.
Post-production and delivery
Editing, color grading, sound and music, exported in the agreed aspect ratios.
Inputs and deliverables
You provide
- Key message and target audience
- Where the film will be shown: events, website or social media
- 3D model or design documents, if scenes need to be built
- Site access and a drone flight permit, if filming on location
- Project brand identity and delivery deadline
Lotuz delivers
- Finished film in high resolution
- Aspect ratios for each agreed channel
- A version without background music, for separate voice-over
- Stills extracted from the film for print materials
Capabilities and technology
Lotuz Studio does not rely only on off-the-shelf commercial software. We build our own in-house tools for our own workflow — the practical reason we can shorten timelines and keep pricing stable.
Lotuz.AI — our in-house AI toolkit for Photoshop
Controlled image generation, relighting and resolution upscaling, running directly inside Photoshop. It is a commercial product on public sale at lotuz.ai.
- What you get: a much shorter post-production stage, so we can take on rush requests too
A sync bridge between SketchUp and 3ds Max
An in-house tool that pushes changes from a SketchUp model to a 3ds Max scene while keeping the materials and lighting setup already in place.
- What you get: mid-project design changes do not force a scene rebuild from scratch, so the schedule does not slip
AI image processing that runs on our own workstations
Background removal, selection and edge refinement are processed locally in our office; files are never uploaded to third-party cloud services.
- What you get: unreleased project files never leave our systems
Our own 360 tour management system
We build and manage tours ourselves on krpano, including multi-resolution image tiling so tours open fast even on weak connections.
- What you get: tours you control yourself, with no dependence on a foreign platform subscription
A ten-person team doing the work directly
The person you talk to is the person who does the work. No call center, no coordination middlemen, no handoff to a third party.
- What you get: focused technical feedback from the very first conversation
Multi-format input files
We accept models from SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max and Rhino, as well as CAD drawings. For projects without a model, 3D modeling is quoted as a separate item.
- What you get: no file conversion needed before sending your documents
How pricing works
Cost depends on the runtime, the ratio of location footage to 3D scenes, and the complexity of post-production.
- We work under contract, issue VAT invoices and bill against sign-off milestones.
- Background music comes from commercially licensed sources; licensing fees are listed separately if you choose a specific track.
