3D modeling for products and objects
A usable model is one that opens and works correctly in your pipeline: the right format, the right unit system, a clean mesh and a standard material set. We model for furniture manufacturers, product brands and businesses that need to put their products on online platforms.
- Exports to the common formats for web, rendering and augmented reality
- Clean mesh, with units true to the product's real dimensions
- A sample model sent for you to test before placing a bulk order
Product categories we model
Each category differs in surface complexity and the amount of detail to preserve, so the workload varies considerably.
Loose furniture
Chairs, sofas, tables, cabinets and beds. The hard part is upholstery, stitching and folds — the details that decide whether a model looks real or looks like plastic.
Lighting fixtures
Ceiling, table and decorative lights, with emission set to the correct color temperature and beam angle so they are ready to use in a scene.
Sanitaryware and kitchen appliances
Sinks, faucets, bathtubs, kitchen appliances — a category full of glossy metal surfaces that demand accurate reflective materials.
Kitchen cabinets and modular cabinet systems
Built as modules so you can assemble many configurations from one set, instead of remodeling each option.
Material and surface samples
Tile, stone, wood and fabric as seamless tileable materials, shared across the entire product catalog.
Bulk catalog digitization
Converting an entire product catalog into 3D models to one consistent spec, for e-commerce platforms or an internal library.
Delivery specifications
| Export formats | FBX and OBJ for rendering software · GLB for the web · USDZ for augmented reality on iOS · native files for the software you use |
|---|---|
| Unit system | Modeled at the product's real size, in metric units, with the pivot at the bottom center so it drops into a scene without realignment |
| Mesh | Clean mesh, quad-dominant, with no stray faces or duplicate vertices; mesh density set to the agreed intended use |
| Two levels of detail | A high-detail version for still renders and an optimized version for the web or augmented reality, exported from the same source |
| Materials | PBR material set: base color, roughness, metallic, normal and ambient occlusion |
| UV unwrapping | Non-overlapping UVs with consistent texel density across all parts of the same product |
| Naming | Objects, materials and texture files named to the convention you provide, so bulk imports need no manual fixing |
| Supporting documents | A spec sheet for each model: polygon count, file size, texture list and resolution |
Where revisions end and new builds begin
Revisions — within the agreed scope
- Changing colors, upholstery and surface finishes
- Adjusting mesh density to the intended use
- Exporting additional formats from the same model
- Renaming objects and files to a new convention
- Dimension adjustments within the same model
New build — quoted separately
- Switching to a different product model
- Changing the product's structure or shape
- Adding variants that require rebuilding the base structure
- Modeling accessories not in the original list
- Requests for significantly more detail than originally agreed
Inputs and deliverables
You provide
- Technical drawings or the product's three-dimensional dimensions
- Photos of the actual product from multiple angles — the more, the more accurate
- Material samples or official color and fabric codes
- The file naming convention your system currently uses
- Output formats and the software the models will be imported into
Lotuz delivers
- Models in the agreed formats
- Accompanying texture set, packaged per product
- Spec sheet for each model
- Test renders for you to compare against the real product
Capabilities and technology
Lotuz Studio does not rely only on off-the-shelf commercial software. We build our own in-house tools for our own workflow — the practical reason we can shorten timelines and keep pricing stable.
Lotuz.AI — our in-house AI toolkit for Photoshop
Controlled image generation, relighting and resolution upscaling, running directly inside Photoshop. It is a commercial product on public sale at lotuz.ai.
- What you get: a much shorter post-production stage, so we can take on rush requests too
A sync bridge between SketchUp and 3ds Max
An in-house tool that pushes changes from a SketchUp model to a 3ds Max scene while keeping the materials and lighting setup already in place.
- What you get: mid-project design changes do not force a scene rebuild from scratch, so the schedule does not slip
AI image processing that runs on our own workstations
Background removal, selection and edge refinement are processed locally in our office; files are never uploaded to third-party cloud services.
- What you get: unreleased project files never leave our systems
Our own 360 tour management system
We build and manage tours ourselves on krpano, including multi-resolution image tiling so tours open fast even on weak connections.
- What you get: tours you control yourself, with no dependence on a foreign platform subscription
A ten-person team doing the work directly
The person you talk to is the person who does the work. No call center, no coordination middlemen, no handoff to a third party.
- What you get: focused technical feedback from the very first conversation
Multi-format input files
We accept models from SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max and Rhino, as well as CAD drawings. For projects without a model, 3D modeling is quoted as a separate item.
- What you get: no file conversion needed before sending your documents
How pricing works
Pricing is per product model and depends on surface complexity. Full-catalog digitization orders are priced in volume tiers.
- We work under contract, issue VAT invoices and bill against sign-off milestones.
- We can model one sample first so you can test it in your own pipeline before committing the whole catalog.

Only have product photos, no technical drawings?
Can the models be used on websites and for augmented reality?
What polygon count should we aim for?
