360 virtual tours for resorts, hotels and destinations
Guests booking online usually have to decide based on a handful of carefully curated photos. A 360 tour lets them walk through the rooms, pool and common areas themselves before booking — narrowing the gap between expectation and reality and reducing complaints after check-in.
- Embedded directly in the property's own booking page
- Runs in the mobile browser, no app to install
- Shot around your schedule — you keep welcoming guests as usual while we work
Three things often lumped together as "virtual reality", and which one Lotuz makes
In conversations about virtual tourism, three very different products often get lumped together. Telling them apart up front avoids comparing quotes for three entirely different things.
Interactive 360 tours — what Lotuz makes. Viewers choose where to look, click from room to room and open the information pinned to each area. It runs in the mobile browser, opens from a shared link and embeds straight into the booking page.
360 video — footage shot with a 360 camera. Viewers can look around but cannot pause, choose a route or open information: the video keeps running on its own timeline. It suits a short promo clip, not a guest who is weighing a booking and wants a close look.
Installed VR applications — software installed on a dedicated headset or computer. They offer the most immersive experience, but require specific hardware, require the viewer to install something, and cost in a different league. Lotuz does not offer this type, and we say so up front rather than taking the job and subcontracting it.
For hospitality properties, the first type is almost always the right choice: a guest scrolling on their phone in bed at eleven at night will not install any software to look at your rooms.
Tours live in operation
Try it yourself to judge the image quality and navigation. The Paradise Island tour is a resort project in Tanzania — exactly this type of hospitality property.
Frequently requested options
Cards with a live tour that genuinely illustrates the content include a button to open it. We deliberately left the other three unlinked, because we don't yet have a real scene of the right type for you to compare against.

Guest rooms by room type
A separate tour for each room type, placed directly on the matching booking page so guests see exactly the room they are considering. This has a direct impact on booking conversion, because it answers the question guests fear most: does the real room look like the photos? Open the sample interior tour →

Common areas and amenities
Lobby, pool, restaurant, spa and private beach — the imagery that weighs most on a holidaymaker's decision, because these are the places they imagine spending their whole stay. Open the resort tour →
Event spaces
Conference rooms, outdoor function areas and wedding halls, for corporate clients who need to scout a venue remotely before sending someone to see it.

Destinations and the surrounding landscape
Beaches, heritage sites and the surrounding landscape, helping guests picture the whole experience, not just the accommodation. Open the landscape tour →
Narrated tours
Voice-over or background music for each area, suited to tourist destinations and cultural spaces that need to tell a story rather than simply display a space.
Bilingual Vietnamese – English version
Interface and info-point content in two languages for international guests. Viewers switch language right inside the tour, with no need for two separate links.
Why own your tour instead of renting a platform by the month
Many hospitality properties start with a subscription because it is cheap at first. The six points below are what usually only surfaces after a few years.
No month where the tour goes dark
A subscription tour stops working when you stop paying — exactly when the property hits low season and cuts costs, which is exactly when it needs the tour most. A static-file tour has no expiry mechanism.
Links on the property's own domain
When the tour lives on your own domain, the authority and traffic stay with your brand instead of flowing to the platform provider's domain.
A one-off cost, not charged per room
Subscription platforms usually charge per space, so the more room types a property has, the more it costs year after year. A tour you pay to build once does not grow in cost over time.
Not dependent on foreign policies
Providers can change prices, change terms or stop serving a region. A property that operates for decades should not tie its main imagery to a short-term contract.
The original images belong to the property
We hand over the full set of original panoramas. Reuse them on social media, in brochures or for any other purpose, without asking anyone's permission.
Change providers without losing your tour
Because the tour is a set of files, copying it to another server runs it exactly as before. No waiting for a provider to allow a data export, and no rebuilding from scratch.
Technical Specifications
| Runs on | Browsers on phones, tablets and computers — no apps, no extensions |
|---|---|
| Loading | Images are tiled into multiple resolution levels: the tour appears instantly, then loads detail for the area in view, so it runs even on weak mobile connections |
| Dedicated links per room type | Each room type gets its own link, placed directly on that room type's booking page instead of funneling everyone into one master tour |
| Offline version for the front desk | An offline version installed on a tablet at the front desk, so staff can show guests around during face-to-face consultations |
| Bilingual Vietnamese – English | Interface and info-point content in two languages, switchable by the viewer right inside the tour |
| Attached content | Text, images, downloadable documents and external links — used to attach room rates, policies and a button through to the booking page |
| Day and night mode | Two image sets for the same position, ideal for pools and outdoor areas with evening lighting |
| Deployment | Static files — hosted on Lotuz infrastructure or handed over for self-hosting by the property; includes website embed code |
| After renovation | Re-shoot only the areas that changed and swap in the matching scenes, with no need to rebuild the whole tour |
| Not included in the product | Measurement tools and dollhouse-style scanned models — Lotuz does not provide these and makes no commitment on either |
Shooting a property that stays open to guests
Every hotel manager's first question is whether the shoot means closing. It doesn't — here is how we arrange things so the property keeps selling rooms throughout.
Survey and finalize the list of areas
Using the floor plans and the room-type list, we agree together which rooms and common areas the tour will include. This step can be done remotely, without us being on site.
Scheduled around room availability
Your front desk tells us which time slots or days each room type is vacant. We shoot on a rolling basis to that schedule — the property does not need to block rooms or stop taking bookings.
On-site capture
Each room usually takes only fifteen to thirty minutes, including light tidying and restoring it exactly as it was after the shoot. Common areas are shot at quiet times so no strangers appear in frame.
Build the tour and add content
Stitching, color-matching across rooms, building navigation, adding information for each area and the button through to the booking page. If you need a bilingual version, content in both languages goes in at this stage.
Handover and integration with sales channels
Delivery of a dedicated link for each room type plus embed code for the property website, and an offline version for the front desk if requested.
Inputs and deliverables
You provide
- List of room types and areas to feature
- Property floor plans, if available
- Time windows when each room type is vacant, for scheduling the shoot
- Brand identity and description copy for each area
- Booking page links for the call-to-action buttons
- English translation, if the tour is bilingual
Lotuz delivers
- Tours run on every device and are optimized for mobile
- Embed code for the property's website and booking page
- A dedicated link for each room type
- Offline version for the front desk, if requested
- The original panorama set, for you to use elsewhere
What's in scope, and what needs to be agreed separately
Stated up front so the contract leaves no room for disputes later.
Included in the scope
- Capture and build the tour for the room types and areas agreed in the list.
- Navigation, area maps and info points built from the content you provide.
- Colors, logo and typefaces applied to match the property's brand identity.
- Embed code for the property website and a dedicated link for each room type.
- One round of revisions after you review the preview build.
To be agreed separately
- Distribution platforms. Booking, Agoda and Airbnb have their own policies on embedded content and usually allow links only. We deliver links for you to use wherever the platform allows; the full embed works on the property's own website. We cannot promise to change third-party policies.
- Travel and accommodation costs for our capture team at properties outside Da Nang — charged separately and agreed before signing.
- Cleaning and staging the rooms before the shoot is handled by the property; we only make light adjustments on site.
- English translation for bilingual tours — we handle the presentation but do not translate content.
- Re-shoots after renovation are priced by the number of new capture points and are not covered by the warranty.

Scope and budget
Cost depends on the number of capture points and room types to feature. Tell us the size of your property to receive a detailed quote.
- Contract and VAT invoice provided.
- Travel and accommodation costs for our capture team at properties outside Da Nang are charged separately and agreed in advance.
- At properties with several room types sharing the same layout, each additional room costs less than the first, because the build and color-matching work can be reused.

Capabilities and technology
Lotuz Studio does not rely only on off-the-shelf commercial software. We build our own in-house tools for our own workflow — the practical reason we can shorten timelines and keep pricing stable.
Lotuz.AI — our in-house AI toolkit for Photoshop
Controlled image generation, relighting and resolution upscaling, running directly inside Photoshop. It is a commercial product on public sale at lotuz.ai.
- What you get: a much shorter post-production stage, so we can take on rush requests too
A sync bridge between SketchUp and 3ds Max
An in-house tool that pushes changes from a SketchUp model to a 3ds Max scene while keeping the materials and lighting setup already in place.
- What you get: mid-project design changes do not force a scene rebuild from scratch, so the schedule does not slip
AI image processing that runs on our own workstations
Background removal, selection and edge refinement are processed locally in our office; files are never uploaded to third-party cloud services.
- What you get: unreleased project files never leave our systems
Our own 360 tour management system
We build and manage tours ourselves on krpano, including multi-resolution image tiling so tours open fast even on weak connections.
- What you get: tours you control yourself, with no dependence on a foreign platform subscription
A ten-person team doing the work directly
The person you talk to is the person who does the work. No call center, no coordination middlemen, no handoff to a third party.
- What you get: focused technical feedback from the very first conversation
Multi-format input files
We accept models from SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max and Rhino, as well as CAD drawings. For projects without a model, 3D modeling is quoted as a separate item.
- What you get: no file conversion needed before sending your documents
